In the bag!
In Aritzia clothing stores throughout Canada, shopping for fashion has been made even more “fashionable” with creative shopping bags.
The shopping bags are the very artsy and hip retailer’s medium to highlight the works of their favorite artists, as well as other emerging trends in the world of arts and design, says Trendhunter. The store, Aritzia, tries to maintain a strong cultural link through these featured artist of the month’s artwork seen on their shopping bags.
Some of the art work recently featured on the bags are from Japanese photographer Kanako Sasaki, who is best known for contemporary works that “translate ordinary life into extraordinary images.”
The bags are so beautiful, I am betting they end up serving as an advertising medium for the clothing store as well as the photographers, because of the length of time they stay around once people purchase clothing from the store.
What do you think? Do you like the creative thinking behind the bags? If you received one of these bags would you keep it around?
